OPSU to Host NCA Summer Cheer Camp

Goodwell, Okla.—Oklahoma Panhandle State University is set to host an NCA cheerleading camp for area high schools this summer. The National Cheerleaders Association and Varsity Spirit camp is scheduled for June 28-30 and will take place in the Noble Activity Center on the OPSU campus.

The overnight camp includes dorm lodging, meals and, of course, a top-quality Varsity camp experience with skilled instructors ready to teach the very best game material, choreography and proper stunt techniques and progressions. In addition OPSU's camp will integrate leadership training into all aspects of camp to help connect the "cheer" with "leader."

OPSU offers a small camp atmosphere with the same level of instruction and the same material taught as the larger camps, while providing a more personal camp experience. Participants will learn a variety of dances, chants, cheers and stunts and will have the opportunity to perform and compete with the other teams attending. A mascot program, one-on-one coaching and specialty classes will also be offered, as well as the integrated leadership training sessions.

Registration is now open. Pricing and additional camp information can be found by visiting varsity.com/camps or click here to register online.
